1. What is the objective of the FAE/BW MBA program?
The objective of this joint program is to address globalization and technology issues by focusing on creating global leaders with intercultural understanding. Students will be exposed to learning contexts which involve the interdependence of international business, economics, politics, environment and technology.
2. How many credits are necessary to receive the BW degree?

3. What are the prerequisite requirements?
For non-business majors there are two prerequisite requirements:
1. Financial Accounting
2. Quantitative Analysis
These courses should be completed at FAE before starting the core MBA courses. Students should consult with an academic advisor at FAE about which courses to take.
4. Do I have to apply to BW even if I have applied to the FAE program?
Yes, you must also apply to Baldwin-Wallace if you plan to receive a degree from Baldwin-Wallace. To apply to the FAE/BW MBA program the following documentation must be sent to Baldwin-Wallace:
- An application form with a US$ 15.00 fee OR apply on line at
https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=bw-mba (for the online application the fee is waived).
- A TOEFL score of at least 69-70 (Internet-based Test)
- Official translated transcripts from your undergraduate school.
- A financial support statement from a bank indicating enough funds to pay tuition and living expenses.
5. How much is the tuition?
Tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year is US$ 795.00 per credit or US$ 2,385.00 per course (3 credit courses). Students attending courses on the BW campus register for three courses plus two seminars, totalizing 11 credit hours.
Example: 11 credits x 795 = 8,745
Note: A tax is not added to tuition; however, students are charged for college health insurance.
6. What are the other expected costs?
a. Meals = about US$ 10 per day
b. Books = US$ 100 per class (six to nine classes a year)
c. Miscellaneous = Students living in campus apartments are required to provide their own home supplies such as towels, cooking and eating utensils. The expected cost of these supplies is around US$ 500.
7. What are the charges for BW Health Insurance?
All international students are required to purchase BW Health Insurance. The cost of the Health Plan is included in initial billing. The Plan covers unexpected accidents and illnesses beyond the scope of the College Health Center.

8. How do I pay Baldwin-Wallace?
Payments may be made by wire transfer, international credit card or personal checks. BW prefers payment before classes start, but will accept payment the first week of the semester.
9. Does BW offer financial aid to graduate students?
Graduate Assistantships are offered to full time qualified graduate students. This assistantship is awarded as a tuition reduction; students are not paid a stipend. A total of US$ 1,250.00 is deducted from tuition per semester for a total of four semesters. To qualify, students must have a TOEFL or GMAT score of at least 79-80 (iBT) and 550, respectively, and high undergraduate achievement. Graduate assistants work with faculty doing research.
10. Can I work off campus in an internship?
The U.S. Department of Immigration does not allow foreign students to work off campus until they've been registered as full time students residing in the U.S. for nine months. BW suggests that interested students volunteer in the BW Business Plan Clinic. This Clinic allows students to work with faculty and entrepreneurs conducting research to assess new opportunities while developing analytical and critical thinking skills. On campus jobs are available through the Student Employment Office.
11. What housing is available and what are the fees?
• TWO (2) BEDROOM APARTMENT: SHARE with 3 others, US$ 1,913.00 (per a 15 week semester)

• TWO (2) BEDROOM APARTMENT: SHARE with 5 others, US$ 1,674.00 (per a 15 week semester)
• THREE (3) BEDROOM APARTMENT: SHARE with 5 others, US$ 1,674 (per a 15 week semester)
• TWO (2) BEDROOM APARTMENT: FAMILY HOUSING, WHOLE APARTMENT, US$ 2,324.00 (per a 15 week semester)
* Family housing is defined as parent(s) and child(ren) where two separate bedrooms are necessary.
Please note: in order to be accepted for housing, you must be admitted to the College. The completed housing application and a USUS$ 150.00 deposit must be received by the Office of Residence Life four weeks before taking occupancy so that a housing assignment can be made. A check or money order should be made out to Baldwin-Wallace College. The deposit is only refundable if you cannot secure your student visa. Requests for refunds must be received in writing. 12. What services does the College Health Center provide?
The Health Center provides a comprehensive health program including dispensary care, medical and psychological care. Most services are offered without charge; however, students are charged for medications, injections, physicals and GYO exams. Fees for these services range from US$ 5.00 to US$ 25.00.
13. When are classes held?
Weeknight classes are held one night a week Monday through Thursday. The program consists of a Fall and Spring semester, each 15 weeks long, and a 12 week Summer semester. During the first three weeks of the Fall and Spring semesters elective seminars are scheduled.
14. Can my spouse or family accompany me?
