Application Timelines
- The Fall semester begins in August, and the Spring semester begins in January. We ask that students apply at least four months prior to their intended date of entrance in order to allow time for the admission decision and the visa application process.
- Once the completed application for admission is received by the Office of Admission, students will be notified of a decision within four to six weeks of applying. Students applying to be music majors will have their videotaped audition and portfolio reviewed by the Conservatory of Music, and will be notified of the audition decision by the Conservatory.
- If students are transferring credentials from FAE or São Francisco, their coursework will be evaluated by the Registrar’s Office after they have been admitted to Baldwin-Wallace.
- If students are admitted to Baldwin-Wallace, they will be mailed an acceptance letter, as well as an Enrollment Agreement card. Upon receiving the Enrollment Agreement card from the student, Baldwin-Wallace will issue an I-20 form for the student’s use in securing a visa from the nearest U.S. Consulate.

Admission to Baldwin-Wallace
Admission to B-W is selective, but each application is reviewed independently on its own merits. The admission decision is based on the following criteria:
